Movie #103: The King and The Clown

Took a long break from watching movies didn't I? So, I decided to start things up again by watching The King and The Clown, since it's such a hit and all. Anyways, here goes...(I've decided to abandon my old way of formatting entries since it was such a pain in the ass)
The Story: Two clowns living in the Chosun Dynasty get arrested for staging a play that satirizes the king. They are dragged to the palace and threatened with execution, but are given a chance to save their lives if they can make the king laugh.
What I thought:
- overall, it was really good
- very interesting; two thumbs up for plot and subplots
- multifaceted, but not confusing
- love the characters; well rounded, had depth
- gorgeous costumes
- entertaining thoughout
- not draggy at all
- very nice choice of music
- very good acting
Note of Criticism:
- didn't quite reach my expecations; I thought it was going to blow me away
- I really didn't like crying-Junki
- Plus, he was too feminine at times; it kind of creeped me out
